What is the Contact 4:12 story?

 

It's 2021. Humans have just colonised Mars, finding the first multi-celled organism on the Red Planet, and have discovered life on Neptune. They think themselves the dominant, most advanced race in the universe. They are wrong. 

 

It's Friday 20th August, 2021. It seems like any other average day. But it will become the date remembered for the change of the world, forever. For four friends, their young lives are destroyed as aliens invade Earth with a series of devastating attacks.  Thrown into the middle of a situation they could never have imagined themselves in, they try to escape the ruins of the city. 

 

Elsewhere, a team of scientists led by Dr Landvik track the alien vessels and attempt to figure out the reason behind the invasion of Earth, whilst Prime Minister Elsworth tries to coordinate a global defence and lead his country in its greatest time of need. 

 

For humans, life on Earth has become a battle of survival.
